  • Wednesday, September 12, 2012
  • 6:30 PM - 9:00 PM
  • Brentwood Community Center

Join us September 12, at the Brentwood Community Center, when our experienced and accomplished panel will cover the basics of how to pitch your book, yourself, and your expertise for media interviews. You’ll learn ideas for the best places to strategically share your message and you’ll learn common mistakes to avoid, and what to expect from print and broadcast media interviews. Jill Farmer and Kimberly Schneider will be our guest speakers.

In addition to being a Martha Beck certified Life Coach, Jill Farmer is a wife (to a fabulously balanced husband) and the mother of a teen and a pre-teen. Jill graduated Summa Cum Laude from Drake University’s School of Journalism. For more than a decade, she was an Emmy Award winning Consumer Reporter and television anchor. She has held leadership positions in a number of amazing charitable organizations and is an active parent leader in her daughters’ schools.

Kimberly Schneider is the author of the book Everything You Need Is Right Here: Mastering The Art of Conscious Manifestation and the AudioBook Terrible Beauty: Poetry and Reflections for Precarious Times (both titles released December, 2011 by Avalon Emerging Press).  An Adjunct Professor of Communication at Washington University in St. Louis’s Olin School of Business, Kimberly also hosts “Conscious Manifesting” on WebTalkRadio.net and is a regular contributor to the “Great Day St. Louis” television show.
